The following figures are from several manufacturers like CHB, Aspen Modelling Co., andian Models, etc. Pallets and crates are from Banta Modelworks, drums and kegs from assorted suppliers. I always pre-paint my figures flat black and finished in various water base colour paints. If the finished colours don’t go into all the cracks and edges it accents as a shadow. I start with the eyes and work out to the outer layer adding shadows and high lights. Eyes are rarely white and almost never large. Try a small slit in a soft beige colour for the eye. Look at people to see how they really appear.
